How long will my order get to me?

Orders are typically shipped within few hours after receiving full payment during weekdays, orders placed and paid for over the weekend are fulfilled and shipped out on Mondays. Please allow 2 to 3 business days for your order to be delivered to you. Upon shipping you will be notified via sms, whatsApp or email. The courier will call you when they have arrived at your delivery address.

How much is standard delivery?

Standard Delivery is R100. Free for orders above R950.

How can I track my order?

Your item(s) will be delivered through courier services. After we have dispatched your parcel we will forward you the tracking number via email, whatsApp or sms so you can easily follow the whereabouts of your parcel.

What are the payment methods The Modern Man accepts?

We accept  EFTs and cash deposits after that you will email your POP(Proof of Payment). Payment can also be made through checking out your cart and paying via Payfast. 

How do i know if an item is in stock?

Our current stock is listed on our online store when you click on the item. If your desired size is not available in the drop- down menu of a product it simply means that size is out of stock. If you have special request concerning sizing and availability please call or whatsApp (066 188 6325) our customer service department. The Modern Man does not work with waiting list, when more sizes become available they are immediately displayed online and available for purchase.

Do The Modern Man offer laybuys?

The Modern Man offers 2 months lay-buy period. We require 40% deposit to secure your order.

what is your return policy?

We offer free returns and exchange. We do not offer refunds. Exchanges and returns may only be made on product if the following conditions are met:

  •  Product is returned within 14 days of purchase.
  •  Product is returned in its original condition.
  • No exchanges will be made on products that are damaged. 

Does The Modern Man do cash on delivery?

No Cash On delivery.  The Modern Man only delivers the product once full payment has been made and cleared. 

Will my information be sold to third parties?

Not a chance, your information will not be sold or passed on to any third parties. The Modern Man rightfully protects your information. 

My items haven't arrived yet. What can i do?

Our delivery policy states delivery within 2 – 3 working days, and we will move the earth to deliver it as promised. If you have not received it then contact our fabulous Customer Service department and they will help you to locate your order. You are able to track the status of your order using the tracking number sent to you. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Customer Service. Remember, you will receive a sms, whatsApp or an email from us to tell you that your order is on its way, and receive a tracking number so you can follow its progress.

How does Studio Collection works?

You can always choose to collect straight from our studio based in Durban at The Durban Ambassdor House on 55 Monty Naicker street. We open Monday to Friday at 09:30 to 17:00 and also on Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00. 

How do I book a suit appointment?

By emailing or whatsApp 066 188 6325 to confirm date and time. 

Can I send you my measurements to make a custom made suit for me? 

Yes we accept measurements taken from your local tailor. We can custom make a well tailored suit for you. For adjustments and alterations you will have to use you local tailor.

 How long does it take to make a custom made suit?

Our tailors need two weeks to complete your suit. 2-3 days after will be for fittings and adjustments. 

Do you offer inhouse adjustments?

Yes we offer FREE in house adjustment and alterations for all suits bought from The Modern Man

Return Policy.          
How do I make a return?
To make a return submit your return request herewith your email address and order number.

How many days do I have to make a return?
You have 14 days from the delivery date to submit your return request.
What items are returnable?
Most apparel, shoes, and accessories are returnable within 14 days of the delivery date. Items must be unwashed and unworn with tags attached and original packaging. All items MUST be returned in protective packaging to reduce damage during handling. All shoes MUST be returned in the original and then packaged durably. Damaged returns will NOT be accepted. Please note that shipping and handling fees are not refundable.

Can I get my money back?                                                         
For all returns we issue exchange with same item different size/color. No refunds. Custom made suits can not be refunded.

Are there any return fees?
You cover for sending the parcel back to us. We take care the costs of sending it back to you.
If you receive the wrong item or a faulty product we will cover the return cost.

How soon will I receive my store credit?
Once we have received your return please allow up to 1-3 business days for your store credit.
